			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Cinquecentotrentasei è il numero degli artisti che ad oggi (8 Settembre)  hanno caricato i loro brani sul sito di mtv per partecipare al contest Mtv New Generation che mette in palio per due artisti la possibilità di volare a New York ed a Los Angeles ed esibirsi con artisti del calibro di Elisa, Allevi, Negrita, Einaudi e moltissimi altri durante la seconda edizione di Hit Week: il festival dedicato alla nuova creatività italiana. Il contest sostenuto e soprattutto fortemente voluto dal Ministro della Gioventù Giorgia Meloni per valorizzare il talento delle nuove generazioni. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Hit Week 2010 welcome on board I-Italy as premier media partner for the 2010 2nd edition that will be in NY (Oct.9th to Oct.13th) and in L.a. (from Oct.13th to Oct.17th) with a phenomal cast of top artist as Elisa, Ludovico Einaudi, Negrita, Roy Paci and Aretuska,  Après la Classe, La Blanche Alchimie and many others</p>
<p>I-Italy is a group of journalists, academics and “public intellectuals” determined to create an authoritative point of encounter, information, and debate on the Internet concerning Italy and Italian America.</p>
<p>In the past few months they&#8217;ve discussed this idea at the John D. Calandra Italian American Institute, where the Eusic initiative (Empowerment of the US-Italy Community) is hosted. Eusic is promoted by the Sociology Department of the University of Rome “Sapienza” and its goal is to facilitate the creation of a journalistic and cultural bilingual web portal dedicated to the Italian/American community.</p>
<p>From the synergy between these projects i-Italy is born, with “Italian/American Digital Project” as its subtitle.</p>
<p>i-Italy will offer to the community the necessary instruments for the creation of a bilingual project on the Web which will focus on three major fields:</p>
<p>1) Information and discussion on current, social and cultural events: with the areas “Magazine” and “Multimedia,” in which articles, movies, photos and audio files will be published;</p>
<p>2) In-depth examination and cultural debate: with the areas “Op-eds” and “Specials,” in which opinions, comments, columns, analyses, and reviews will be hosted;</p>
<p>3) Community building/social networking: with the areas “Blog” and “Community,” in which all readers will be able to freely present their own experiences and opinions with personal pages, forums, discussion groups, mailing lists</p>
<p>The project addresses three major segments of a large potential audience:<br />
• Americans of Italian descent<br />
• Americans with no Italian ancestry, but who have an interest in Italy and Italian lifestyle and culture.<br />
• Italians living and working in the U.S.</p>
<p>It also addresses three main topics:<br />
• Italian America: social, political and cultural events related to the Italian/American community.<br />
• Italy in the U.S.: Italian events in America, including among others artistic, cultural, and business events;<br />
• Italy in italy: current events in the fields of politics, society, culture and “lifestyle”, including fashion, style, cuisine, and tourism.</p>
<p>Finally, the project is bilingual, with English as its main language as it is spoken by the most part of our target audiences.</p>

Un Grande nome e la band del momento nel cast di Hit Week</p>
<p>Il Geniale compositore chiuderà,  Domenica 17 ottobre all’El Rey Theatre di Los Angeles,   con uno show unico nell’ambito del suo tour mondiale “Solo Piano”,  la seconda edizione di Hit Week presentando in anteprima mondiale il suo nuovo album “ALIEN” in uscita in Italia il prossimo 28 settembre.</p>
<p>Mentre la band salentina degli Après La Classe, trionfatori dell’estate 2010 con il tormentone  “Mamma l’Italiani” si esibirà Sabato 16 Ottobre sempre all’El Rey Theatre, in quella che si preannuncia una serata ad alto contenuto ritmico insieme a Roy Paci e Negrita.</p>
<p>Hit Week si terrà negli Stati Uniti dal 9 al 17 Ottobre prossimi a New York ed a Los Angeles.  Oltre che dai concerti dal vivo di alcuni dei più importanti artisti italiani, le due città statunitensi saranno invase dalla migliore creatività Made in Italy: feste,  showcase,  cinema, dj set e tantissimi altri avvenimenti che coinvolgeranno le migliori location di New York (dal 9 al 13 Ottobre in occasione del Columbus Day Week End, con anteprima l’8) e di Los Angeles  (dal 13 al 17 Ottobre) rappresentando l’arte italiana attuale, lontana dagli stereotipi che spesso accompagnano gli italiani all’estero,  e capace di conquistare i mercati internazionali. Previsti gli show dal vivo di Elisa, Giovanni Allevi (solo L.a.), Ludovico Einaudi, Negrita, Roy Paci &amp; Aretuska, Après La Classe (solo L.a.) , La Blanche Alchimie.</p>
