BIOGRAPHY: Subsonica is the most popular rock band in Italy. It was formed in Turin in 1996 by underground producer and Africa Unite guitarist Max Casacci and singer Samuel Romano, who also enrolled the keyboardist and long time friend Boosta, together with Ninja and, later, Bass Vicio to complete a straight forward and top notch rhythm section, whose nickname immediately was “an unidentified musical object”. On March 2011, after having released lots of successful albums (Subsonica, Mircrochip Emozionale, Amorematico, Terrestre, L’eclissi) and having awarded many international prizes, the band has launched the new album "Eden", which becomes a huge success shortly after opening at #2 in the Italian chart. The first single off the album, Istrice, is one of the most played songs on Italian radios and the spring tour gathers a total of over 90k tickets sold spread over 11 gigs.

BIOGRAPHY: Michele Salvemini, known as Caparezza (that in Apulian dialet means "curly head"), was born in Molfetta on the 9th October 1973. He specializes in Avant-garde, Progressive and Experimental music, similar in style to Frank Zappa, who Caparezza considers his mentor. His four albums contain a plethora of emotions: anger, while at the same time desire of redemption, nostalgia, love, guilt, but especially a wish for change. This aspect is particularly evident in his first album "?!", published in 2000, where the artist disowns and nearly rejects his past, when he was called Mikimix, because he felt incoherent compared to his present self. After the albums “Verità Supposte”, “Habemus Capa” and “Le dimensioni del mio caos”, in January 2011 he published the first single from his fifth album "Il sogno eretico", entitled "Goodbye Malinconia", with a sold out series of his currently tour.

BIOGRAPHY: Cult Dj, producer and remixer in the international nu-jazz scene from over 10 years, Nicola Conte is a synomimous of musical quality, competence and style. Founder of “Fez”, a cultural and musical movement developed in Bari in the earl 1990s, he collaborated as a remixer at Schema Records and he created bands like the Paolo Achenza Trio, QuintettoX, Fez Combo, Intensive Jazz Sextet, and Balanço. After having realized his own albums “Jet Sounds”, “Other Directions”, “Rituals” and “The modern sound of Nicola Conte”, in 2011 he launched his latest disc, “Love & Revolution”, a reflection in music on the values of our society. In this album the human voice is the real protagonist, though perfectly blending with a “sound carpet” of extraordinary effectiveness. We could consider "Love & Revolution" essence as one of the most accurate portrayal of its creator’s intentions.

BIOGRAPHY: Casino Royale, name inspired by Ian Fleming’s saga, started their carreer in 1987 and they have being exploring so far different music territories, as well as the famous agent 007. They were influenced from sounds of bands like Specials, and Clash which contributed to make profitable the upbeat sound of the beginning. In the Nineties the sound of the band was characterized by music allusions very different from each other: black rock, reggae, hip hop, dub, funk. Casino Royale, mind and heart always in motion, like the most avventurous of the secrets agents, they always need to make new experiences and leave for a new mission. 2011: the new chapter of this story is music that speaks of life hidden behind other’s lives. Milan is the starting point, with its lonely figures; ordinary people who lives nights pervaded by doubts: “Io E La Mia Ombra”.

BIOGRAPHY: The band from Salento, in the region of Puglia (Southern Italy), was born in 1996 and soon states a name for itself among the clubs in Puglia. In 2002 “Après La Classe” debut their first album with the music label “Edel”, and from here they start to play live concerts all over Italy. After a long and energetic tour the band becomes successful in no time among the Italian public. Following “Un numero” and “Luna Park” in 2010 they realized a third album entitled “Mammalitaliani”, produced by Sunnycola (their friends Caparezza's label), where the band decided to concentrate mainly on the audio quality and so came up with a rare work where new ideas and new types of sounds mix up with the live experience, several electronic sounds and original songwriting. One year after this band will be back in USA to attend the event HitWeek2011 after their succesfull appearance in 2010 in the same show.

BIOGRAPHY: Erica Musci, known as Erica Mou, is one of the latest young singer-songwriter talents to hit Italy. Born in Bisceglie in 1990, she has always written and composed her own music, expressing herself with innocent grace interspersed with sensual irony. Erica Mou’s debut album is titled “È”, and was released on March 8th on the Sugar label. The album contains 11 autobiographical songs and a cover version of Fleetwood Mac’s classic hit Don’t Stop, the soundtrack to the new Eni TV commercial, on air since January 2011. Erica Mou, who won a various Italian accolades for singer-songwriters, has been continuing her busy tour schedule in 2011, performing on prestigious occasions such as the May 1st concert in Piazza San Giovanni, Rome, and the Wind Music Awards at the Verona Arena, where she bagged the Special Award, given by the associations in the Confindustria Cultura Italia record industry.
